Machine Vision -  Brake Shoe Re-manufacturer

A machine vision system and a PC based machine controller were installed for a company that re-manufactures brake shoes. This system compares brake shoes to a database with over 700 part numbers and sorts them at a rate of 60 parts per minute. After the shoes have been identified, they are automatically placed in storage bins.
