Office Administrator

Mercator Robotec has an opening for a part time office administrator. It is expected that 15 to 20 hours per week will be required.  The work schedule can be flexible.

This position will include a variety of responsibilities that will assist the technical staff with working more efficiently.  Responsibilities will include: 

  • Reception/Answering the telephone
  • Full Service Book Keeping including Payroll
  • Typing
  • Filing
  • Shipping/Receiving paperwork
  • Assembling project documentation packages
  • Providing administrative support for the technical staff as required
  • Making travel arrangements for other staff

 

Requirements

  • Positive, cheerful, polite telephone presence
  • Ability to interact with visitors in a professional manner
  • Basic computer skills – familiarity with MS Office software programs, Internet search skills
  • Simply Accounting proficiency
  • Experience with international shipping documentation
  • Reading and writing proficiency in the English language
  • Must be bondable
  • A Police Clearance Certificate must be provided
  • Candidates with less than 5 years bookkeeping and office administration experience will not be considered.
