Industrial Automation Engineer - Intermediate

Mercator Robotec has an opening for an industrial automation engineer.  This is a permanent, full time position. 

Primary responsibilities will include software development for machine vision systems and machine control systems.  Other responsibilities will include designing control panels, conducting pre-start health and safety reviews and working on various product development projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for projects from concept to completion.  Travel throughout North America for project commissioning will be required.

Requirements

• Two to Five years relevant experience in machine control systems and electrical design. 
• Must be eligible for P.Eng or CET designation.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and your own transportation.
• Must have a valid Canadian Passport.
• Must be able to travel throughout North America.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
• Experience working in heavy industrial and high volume manufacturing environments is mandatory.
